le soleil
Might I detect a smidge of European influence at North Narrabeen Rockpool? Not likely. What's more likely is Sydney weather finally heats up and I become reminiscent of my last two summers spent in the South of France.
Our impromptu pool side shoot was met by about as much politeness by Narrabeen locals as if they were French natives themselves (jokes, I heart my French homies however there are a few people I know who aren't massive fans). I detest shooting when people are around but Loz reminds me 'since when have a few sly looks ever stopped us? Oh that's right, um, never'.
Et VoilĂ ! We have the start of our summer look book. Watch this space. No not that one. This one. Yea that's the one, right there.

our favourite way to spend a rainy day
The dwindling number of recent shoots/posts from moi may have a direct inverse correlation when plotted against the increasing number of sunny Sydney days.
Not a maths person? Me either, however I think graphs are awesome, they are the visual representation of the numerical world. Anything visual is, well just better.
So I'll just stop rambling and visually represent how we spent our rainy Saturday...

the girl with kaleidoscope eyes
Picture yourself in a boat on a river, with tangerine trees and marmalade skies.
Somebody calls you, you answer quite slowly, a girl with kaleidoscope eyes.
Cellophane flowers of yellow and green, Towering over your head.
Look for the girl with the sun in her eyes, and she's gone.
Follow her down to a bridge by a fountain, where rocking horse people eat marshmallow pies.
Everyone smiles as you drift past the flowers, that grow so incredibly high.

silence the sunlight
Running barefoot on the grass, as the last glimpses of sunlight silently disappear over the peaks of the mountain tops. The shadows grow ever so closer, until complete darkness falls.
Sunset has to be my favourite part of the day, its a time to dwell on what you have achieved or to plan the new day ahead.
